Wolf In The Snow

A wordless story about how kind deeds are repaid. This would be a great story to have your kids put words to as you make your way through the pictures.

The artwork in this story has its own feel: a little messy, childlike and yet so easy to understand what’s going on. A child encounters a lost wolf pup on their way home from school and is determined to return it to its pack. One act of kindness is repaid with another as the wolf pack return the favour in their own way. I love stories that can be told with all the emotional ups and downs without using words. Your own feelings make up the story. This is a good book for kids to practice emotional intelligence since they have to decode what’s happening, how everyone is feeling and why they might be doing the things they’re doing.
