This is a sweet story about how we can be so different and yet so similar.

Stellaluna gets separated from her family and lives with some birds for a while, learning how to be like them. By chance, she reunites with her bat family and realizes her urges and inclinations aren’t so strange after all. The artwork is beautiful, full pictures, giving the reader a clear idea of what is going on and how Stellaluna might feel throughout the story. This is another one of those feel-good stories that teach us about our differences.
