Talk about getting kids to unearth their imaginations. This book gives kids a template to get their ideas flowing by choosing the parts of their story-to-be.

Choose your character, where you will live, what you’ll be good at, who your friends are, how you’ll travel, and so much more. Each page is loaded with pictures from common fairy tales to help get kids started. Add more detail by choosing one of their suggestions and changing it to suit your own personality. Once you have an outline chosen, head on a real-life adventure in your backyard and make your story come true, or write it out  and illustrate it together to read as a bedtime story. There are so many possibilities with this book, I just love how quickly it sparks your imagination and gets you involved.
