A story of imagination and attitude. Max wants to be wild but then realizes it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

This is a simple story that takes us through a child’s perspective when they’ve been acting wild and where their imagination takes them. I love the details of how time passes and how Max realizes he misses his home. Even though he gets to be king of the wild things and be as crazy as he wants, he realizes being home with people who love him, is worth more than everything else.
